episode two: From Extinction To Abundance – Boaz Paldi on What Climate Hope Looks Like

Boaz Paldi has spent years on the frontlines of crisis, from war zones to the climate emergency. Now, as Chief Creative Officer at the United Nations Development Programme, he’s turning global attention toward what’s still possible in a world that's literally heating up. This conversation is a call to imagine and build a different future for the next generation.

Before joining the UN, Boaz spent 17 years reporting from conflict and disaster zones for the BBC and Reuters. He’s seen the worst and still believes it's possible to course correct when it comes to the climate emergency.

Today, he leads global storytelling at UNDP, where he’s launched campaigns like #DontChooseExtinction (featuring a dinosaur crashing the UN General Assembly) and #WeatherKids (forecasting a future we still have time to change). Combined, these campaigns have reached over 4 billion people.

In this episode, we explore: • Why storytelling can move people in ways science and policy can’t • The urgency of the next 20 years and what’s at stake • Why Gen Z and Millennials will be the ones to turn the tide • The real potential of wealth transfer, mindset shifts and market pressure • What a better, more abundant future actually looks like
